What an amazing, joyful and FUN day we had at Andrew and Savannah’s wedding in August. The day was full of family connections (all eight of the bride and groom’s grandparents were able to attend the wedding—how sweet and special is that?) and good friends. This was an extra treat of a wedding for me, since I’ve known Savannah since she was young (and she and I, along with her two sisters, definitely had some silly and exciting times when I babysat them!). It was such an honor to get to witness lots of laughs, some tears, and a fantastic night of dancing under the stars at Kinkaider in Broken Bow! Congratulations, Andrew and Savannah! I know you have a life of happiness ahead of you! Thanks to Tauni Morris for second shooting with me.

Appearing once again in my role as bridesmaid-photographer, I was honored to participate in celebrating my dear friend Bekah’s marriage to Benjamin! The day was filled with so much laughter, joy and worship as all those who witnessed this event heard the testimony of how God had worked to bring these two together in the perfecting timing and way. Huge thanks to Sarah from Wunderkind Gallery, who served as my wonderful second-shooter (filling in the gaps when I was otherwise occupied!) and Levi and Eleanor for their helping hands and artistic eyes.

One of my favorite aspects of Hannah and Tristen’s wedding (aside from how HAPPY everyone was that day! So much fun to celebrate with this level of joy!) was how involved family was in the big event. Hannah did all of her own florals and she wore the same veil that her mom and sister wore. Her mom (and some helpers) sewed all of the shirts for the groomsmen and the ushers (including the little guys) and the ties, as well! Hannah’s dad, who is a cowboy poet, spoke during their ceremony and her brother sang. Thank you, Hannah and Tristen, for the honor of documenting your day! Thanks to Tauni Morris for second shooting with me.

Where do I even begin? Bethanne is such a dear, dear friend to me that I debuted my role as bridesmaid-photographer…double honored and double duty! Huge, huge thank you to Rachelle, Eleanor (who also did the hair and makeup!) and Charlotte who helped me out with the photography side of things, photographing the ceremony, helping with the bridal party and picking up the slack everywhere!
Billy and Bethanne celebrated on a beautiful fall day surrounded by family and loved ones (can we talk about the fact that Bethanne is the youngest of six and has over thirty nieces and nephews? Auntie extraordinaire!). Bethanne got ready at home (my favorite!) and after a thoughtful and emotional ceremony, they continued by cutting the the pie and serving charcuterie boards on each table. Afterwards, we got to sneak out for a few sunset photos (with some Kansas wind showing up for good measure) and ended the day by Billy and Bethanne having a private first dance in the coffee shop where they spent many dates. Cue the tears!
Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your day, Billy and Bethanne! I am so excited for you and your future together!
