Can you even look at this post without smiling? I had such a fun time laughing with Tristen and Hannah during their late-December engagement session. We lucked out with a beautiful evening at Pressey State Park which provided a lovely variety of locations to choose from. So looking forward to their wedding day, which will certainly be full of joy and fun!

Where do I even begin? Bethanne is such a dear, dear friend to me that I debuted my role as bridesmaid-photographer…double honored and double duty! Huge, huge thank you to Rachelle, Eleanor (who also did the hair and makeup!) and Charlotte who helped me out with the photography side of things, photographing the ceremony, helping with the bridal party and picking up the slack everywhere!
Billy and Bethanne celebrated on a beautiful fall day surrounded by family and loved ones (can we talk about the fact that Bethanne is the youngest of six and has over thirty nieces and nephews? Auntie extraordinaire!). Bethanne got ready at home (my favorite!) and after a thoughtful and emotional ceremony, they continued by cutting the the pie and serving charcuterie boards on each table. Afterwards, we got to sneak out for a few sunset photos (with some Kansas wind showing up for good measure) and ended the day by Billy and Bethanne having a private first dance in the coffee shop where they spent many dates. Cue the tears!

My dear, dear friend Bethanne has found the one her soul loves! It was my honor to capture these engagement photos for her and Billy in the golden light of early September. We had fun exploring the downtown of Lindsborg, Kansas and then headed out to the stunning views at Coronado Heights! How fun to have a “castle” in the middle of Kansas. We got the bonus of a sunflower field sandwiched in the middle and I think it’s safe to say that all of my prairie and Kansas dreams came true when taking these photos. Can’t wait for your wedding!

Congratulations to Stetson and Alicia! This wedding combined two of my favorite things: highschool sweethearts and getting to photograph in my hometown of Broken Bow! You could really see the depth of love and understand that this couple had for each other in their relationship. Alicia rocked a beautiful long veil which was perfect for the bit of a breeze that came up during their July wedding.
